Our marquee

Our German-made, state-of-the-art marquee is purpose-built for Clay Bank by HTS TENTIQ - a globally recognised and trusted permanent marquee company, and winner of the German Brand Award 2022. Its internal white ceiling and clear sides are made from a French fabric - Ferrari 702 PVC - to give an airy feel, while high-grade, anodised aluminium framing provides the strength to withstand 160kph winds. It’s here for you as a ceremony alternative if rain hits, with the sides fully removable so you can still take in the breathtaking views.

From the moment you book, our team is ready to help you make the magic happen. We have a list of preferred local suppliers that can help source anything you may need for your day, and we encourage you to engage an event planner to ensure your day runs smoothly.

Vinnie is our BYO bar. You source your own beverages, and we will advise how many staff members are required when we receive your booking details.

Easily accessible

We will organise a bus to get guests directly to the venue, or we can prepare the helipad.

Common questions

  • Yes. The venue will be all yours from 9am the day before your event, until 12pm the day following it.

  • Yes. We have accommodation right here on separate parts of the farm, there are numerous luxury homes available to rent nearby, or plenty of accommodation for all tastes and budgets in Whangārei. We can point you in the right direction, depending on your needs.

  • Anita, our event director, will be on-site to oversee that everything is running smoothly alongside your event coordinator.

  • From food trucks offering fresh-made pizza, to specialist event caterers preparing banquet-style plates, the local area is filled with food service and bar staff teams who can put on a feast to remember. We’ve got them all listed on our preferred vendors database - get in touch via the contact form below to chat through their sample menus and prices.

  • We just ask that any decorations and belongings are out by 12pm the day after your event, and that rubbish is put into the bins provided.

  • The easiest way for everyone to get here is by bus from Whangārei. We can help you liaise with a local bus company to organise this. We do have onsite parking available for vendors, and a helipad in case a helicopter is your preferred method of arrival.

  • The marquee can fit a total of 150 people seated.

  • If rain hits, our permanent, state-of-the-art, all-weather marquee will keep your guests comfortable all party long. German-made, and structured onto a concrete slab, its high-grade anodised aluminium framing ensures it can withstand high winds. Its removable clear sides, constructed from French-made PVC, give an airy, open feel.
